W. K. Kellogg Foundation - Youth and Education Program

WHAT: The W. K. Kellogg Foundation has a long history of supporting the education and development of young people. Youth and Education programs address the preschool through college continuum – ages 0 to 24. The overall goal of the program is to support healthy infant, child, and youth development by mobilizing, strengthening, and aligning systems that affect children’s learning. The strategies are: 1) mobilize youth, families, and communities to inform policies that affect learning and achievement for vulnerable children and youth; and 2) forge partnerships between education institutions and communities to promote learning, academic performance, and workforce preparation among vulnerable young people.

The focus of these grants is on innovation - supporting new ideas about how to engage children and youth in learning and new ways to bring together community-based systems that promote learning.

WHO: Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) status.
