Outcome
Evaluation
The goal of outcome evaluation is to measure the effectiveness of a
program. It involves three core activities:
-
collecting information on the
effectiveness of a program by measuring one or more program outcomes;
-
systematically analyzing the
information collected; and
-
using the results of the analysis
to improve program effectiveness, which may include modifying the program
model as well as making other programmatic or administrative changes.
