Children’s Resource Center
Bowling Green, Ohio
The Children’s Resource Center (CRC)
is a comprehensive children’s mental health agency providing both
school and home-based community support in Northwest Ohio.
CRC provides evaluation, treatment,
and guidance to families of children with behavioral and/or
emotional problems. CRC specializes in services to preschool
children and services to older children with multiple problems. CRC
assesses and plans for social, psychological, medical, financial,
educational, and recreational needs of the child.
CRC has a
longstanding history of successful school-based programming for children
and families in five school districts within Wood County, serving over
1000 children annually. Utilizing the equivalent of eight fulltime staff
members within each school district, CRC has implemented a “seamless”
referral process that enhances family, agency, and school integration,
and the coordination of intervention efforts.
CRC's efforts have resulted in
increased school competence, the reduction of aggressive and self-destructive behaviors by children,
and have led to the enhancement of family and social support systems.
